Guess what everyone, I recently got an email from H&M saying they have a 15 percent discount for students and teachers. Just show your student or teacher ID at the register. I usually go there for the cheap basics so this is a good way to stock-up. But there is a catch. Unlike the other discounts I’ve shown you, this only lasts from July 25 to August 30. Click here for all the details. Unfortunately, H&M does not have an online store for the U.S. yet so I can’t give you the usual image with links to items you can buy from home. Instead, I recommend that you go on their US site and just look around to get an idea if this store is for you.
Turns out there are a few more editions to make to this collection. Including one store that was recently acquired by Nordstrom. You guessed it, TOPSHOP. This U.K. based store has pieces you can wear to everything from Coachella to a wedding rehearsal dinner. The best part is, college kids get 10 percent off when you show your id in store (they have one in New York with free stylists on site) or when you type in your student advantage card number online. The price’s are fairly reasonable to begin with but the best deals are in the sale section. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.
Remember J. Crew from my college student discount listings in “the savings collection – shopping edition?” Well the store just got better. Check out this coupon for 50 percent off here. I’ve used this website, retailmenot.com, to find numerous discounts in the past, so don’t worry. Check out the factory store website for some pretty good deals and remember to show your college ID in store for an additional percentage off. Happy Shopping!
Now it’s time to take a trip across the pond as the forth part of this savings collection is based in the U.K. Both asos.com and tfnc.com are British based companies that focus on the latest fashions at decent prices. The best part is they sell internationally. Asos offers a 10 percent discount and tfnc has a 15 percent discount – but you need to sign up for the discount through UNiDAYS.
When it comes to asos, they have a section for men and women that features multiple designers as well as their own label. Another feature is their marketplace where you can buy and sell items from other fashion enthusiasts; you can make a make a few bucks or find your new favorite vintage piece.
Tfnc, is based in London and features clothing only for women. As you can see below, my favorite part is their dresses but they much more to choose from. Feel free to explore the sites and tell me what you find. Happy shopping!
