The holidays are just about here and I know most of you don’t have your shopping done yet. There’s always a work party to attend, some errand to run, a paycheck to wait on or you just don’t know what in the world to get the important people in your life! I can’t blame you.
Yet, you still have plenty of people to shop for and are running out of time to do it!
Usually, I do one gift guide a day throughout the month of December. But, instead of making you wait to find the gift guide relevant to you, I put my top 3 in this post. Here’s your most fashionable shortcut to gift giving.
It seems like the more you know someone, the less you know what to get them. And, when they have a fun sense of style, it gets even harder to find something that is just right.
Well, that’s where I come in.
When it comes to fashion girls, we all know the latest trends. And that is the best place to start.
If you want something personal and think you know their style, go for a statement coat, such as a blue leather jacket or a festive fur look. Don’t know the size? Try a fun accessory she can wear all season long, like a knit hat with poofs, Marc Jacobs camera bag, Rebecca Minkoff quilted crossbody or a book on her favorite designer.
Maybe you want them to have an experience…
In that case, I would suggest something fun like a closet cleanup service or an appointment with a stylist, if she really wants one. Otherwise, get her something she can enjoy for more than one day. I mean a subscription gift. Rent the Runway has gift cards and just reimagined its subscription packages. Rachel Zoe’s Box of Style is widely successful and now has $20 off gifts with code “WINTER 20.” Material World also just launched its own subscription for those who love designer vintage at a discount. Or, the below carousel has something even more luxe at the very end.

I swear, the men with great taste seem to be just as impossible to buy for as the women!
I had no idea what to get my boyfriend this year. I spent the past few months making a list of everything he liked so I could potentially get him one of them for Christmas. In the end, he picked out his own gift on Black Friday.
I know not everyone is that lucky. So, I came up with a few ideas.
My favorite of all are the tech gifts. Last year, the Amazon Echo was the big item. Now, there’s the Google Home, it’s mini twin, a Sonos speaker and every cool tech watch under the sun. If you’re looking for something over-the-top, an option that I almost want for myself is the Movado Connect. It’s a new android watch made by a trusted brand for its function and style.
For the man who loves more fashion than tech, I have a few other options. AllBirds has met with serious acclaim for its comfort and look. Who knew a wool shoe could be so chic? For those upcoming chilly months, you can match it with a fun scarf to make every look special, an elegant black coat or a fun tie clip like the below by Paul Smith. The one you choose probably depends on how far you are in the relationship.
Of course, a gift should also be something fun. That’s why, in the below, I also included a Stranger Things key chain, monster Fendi slip-ons and beer-opoly.
There’s also an awesome subscription service called “The Gentlemen’s Box.” One of my cousins told me about it and I almost bought it for you-know-who. It comes with a year of GQ, socks and a trendy tie to fit his style, all in a custom box. I would suggest getting the man who has everything, something like this or make your own with a gift set of his favorite products.
Need some more ideas? Here are a couple to get you started. (Please see the above disclaimer.)
When I studied abroad, I LOVED going to a different city almost every weekend. It’s also hard to live out of a suitcase. You have barely any clothes. You’re constantly lost as well as worried about getting your stuff stolen. But, the experience is well worth it.
If I could, I would go to a new place at least once a month. I’m still trying to figure out how to do that and get everything done. Know someone else who feels the same way or is always on a trip? Well, here are a few things they might need.
First of all is a new carry-on, because you know their’s has some miles on it. Raden makes one with a built-in charger! A cute RFID wallet or bag can also come in handy, to protect their credit cards (aka lifelines) from getting stolen. Lodis makes an adorable bucket bag to do just that and Vera Bradley has a few in cute patterns, too. Don’t forget their hair. An awesome dry shampoo kit will be much appreciated when their latest cheap hotel has crappy water pressure.
Of course, you know me and designer goods. That’s why I would also suggest something fun and on-budget like a Balmain travel set. Here’s a few other options, just in case. (Please see the above disclaimer.)
Remember, you can get all of this for less by using coupon codes and taking advantage of holiday sales.
