If you didn’t know already, this morning’s extra wind chill makes it clear that fall weather is here to stay. That infinity scarf from last year will come in handy. But, if you’re like me, you’re still craving a new sweater or accent to keep your look interesting. Everyone wants to be warm and chic, after all.
You’ve seen a few of Fall’s biggest trends in my shopping and style guides to help with that. Now, it’s time to show you how to get even more stylish pieces for less. Keep reading to find out how to look like you just spent thousands on designer duds without dropping more than $80.
Break Out the Fall-Ready Florals
The flowers may be almost gone but that doesn’t mean you can’t look fresh and feminine. Remix your fall wardrobe with some brighter hues alongside a slightly darker detail. You can go for classic black and white, or pull a Gucci and do something like the below.
For the woman on a budget, I love this floral re:named dress and even bought it for myself! (Warning: go a size up and check the guide for measurements if you have a larger back/chest. I didn’t and had to return mine.)
Add a Dash of the Season’s Favorite Color
Camel is still a fashion-forward hue for Fall but few colors grab your attention like a bold bordeaux, crimson or burgundy. Red is just a rich tone that blends perfectly with the changing leaves. (Plus, it keeps you from going to the dark place of all gray, black and navy for winter.) Want to channel this color with a new pleated skirt? Here’s one for $60.
