Is it just me or is this turning into one of the biggest sale seasons, yet? It seems like everywhere I look there is another store slashing its inventory with deep discounts or offering up some sort of “Buy One Get One” deal.
Thanks to these savings, I uncovered a few pieces to help you get that runway-ready look for a fraction of the price. (Think: Snapchat-worthy sunglasses, bold tropical designs and a little lace dress for every occasion.)
It’s all about finding pieces that capture the same trend with style. Let’s start with…
You’ve probably noticed that the latest sunglasses have taken on an almost color-block look. Think aviators with stripes of different hues and sunnies that have one tone in the front but another in the back.
If you have the time, they can be DIYed. Otherwise, it may be easier to pick them up online.
While searching for a pair of two-tone sunnies, I came across these Swarovski cat eye glasses. Aren’t they cute?! I’m not a big Swarovski crystal anymore but this pair reminded me of another by Tom Ford, so I had to take a look. You can grab them at Century21 online. To make sure you don’t accidentally end up on the real estate site, here’s the link to their homepage.
Palm Fronds-Inspired Prints
Dolce & Gabbana’s palm-inspired prints had me mesmerized for months! But, paying over $900 for a skirt just isn’t in the budget right now. So, I went on a hunt for something similar and found these little beauties! Marc Jacobs is of course one of my favorite designers (I wore a gold tag necklace by the brand practically all winter long!), but I can’t resist a good bargain.
Summer-Ready Short Lace Dresses
Now that summer is finally here, lace and more-popular-than-ever crochet dresses are popping up everywhere! Style Code Live even did a show on lace earlier this week.
If you read my Easter style post, you know I’ve been coveting the Felicia Lace Mix Dress by Self-Portrait ever since I laid eyes on it. Like for most of you who saw this dress on my Instagram and loved it as much as I did, the price was just too much to buy it. So, I found a summer-friendly alternative that gives the a similar eye-catching style in a different hue.
