Just because New York Fashion week finished yesterday doesn’t mean we still can’t fall in love with the collections! Kate Spade’s latest presentation mixes multiple floral and plaid prints with silhouettes worthy of the 1970s and her signature kitchy handbags.
Unexpected only begins to describe it. A 1990s mixtape clutch, black swan-shaped shoulder bag and colorful crystal-accented sunglasses were on display alongside shimmery or velvet pointed-toe kitten heels and funky looks. (Can you say orange fringed top?)
My favorite pieces were a little more versatile. The fun, floral and “flowy” blue dress from look 16 is perfect for any spring get-together! Also, did you see the seventh look? It’s almost reminiscent of Coco Chanel’s early days with sophisticated cropped black pants and a seemingly tweed-inspired tailored top. Of course, there was much more.
