Even though Valentine’s Day is under a week away, it’s not uncommon for people to wait until now (or much later) to make their final plans. Still not sure what you’re going to do? I have a few ideas you can steal.
Explore Your City with An Awesome (and Easy!) Night Out
Taking advantage of this holiday doesn’t have to come with an exorbitant price tag. Make a trip to your local museum (like the Met) or planetarium and then grab a reservation at your favorite spot through OpenTable. While it seems pretty simple, few things are more fun or romantic than getting lost in your favorite works of art, stargazing or sharing a good meal (and maybe posing for a few selfies in between them!)
Take a Helicopter Tour around Town
Want something with a scenic view? Grab your boyfriend, best friends or spouse for a private helicopter tour around your city. Since it’s something you wouldn’t usually do, it can be an exceptional experience! Companies such as Viator offer this service year-round so I wouldn’t be surprised if they still have openings. Just be mindful that Viator has multiple providers offering the same types of services (plus day trips!) so you can shop around for the best price.
Surprise Them with a Getaway
TravelZoo has plenty of options still on sale for a surprise vacation with your special someone (or a singles trip with friends!). This link makes it simple with trips only over Valentine’s Day weekend. Whether you’re looking to stay local or travel down to Waikiki, there’s a deal for that. (Remember you can also use site likes Skyskanner or Trivago to ensure you have the best prices or check other options if you’re looking for something slightly different.)
