Almost every person that studied abroad or had the privilege of going to Europe is probably familiar with Primark. The fast-fashion behemoth felt like the perfect mix of Forever 21 and H&M with prices that made it affordable to shop – even with the incredible exchange rate. (You may remember me talking about Primark in my international posts.) Well the good news is finally here! Primark will be launching its first American Flagship on Sept. 10 in Boston, according to their Tweet on August 10. But the best is yet to come. According to a press release and an article in WWD, it has also been confirmed that the Ireland-based chain will launch stores in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania in November followed by six others. Sorry New York City, but you’re not on the list just yet. The other locations will include one shop in Staten Island, two stores in Massachusetts, one in Freehold, New Jersey, another in Pennsylvania (specifically Willow Grove), and, finally, one in Danbury, Connecticut.
Now for the big question: what will it look like? For those unfamiliar with this mass retailer, it’s similar to Forever 21 in that there’s so many options to choose from, it’s a little overwhelming. The entrance alone to its Boston flagship, like most others I’ve been in, will be the trend room filled with a clan of mannequins and tons of options. Don’t worry. There will be plenty of room to try on your favorite looks with 84 dressing rooms in the Boston store alone.
Get ready fashion-lovers. Primark is coming your way and the result will undoubtedly be amazing for you and your wallets.
Happy Monday, everyone.
