I have a bit of good news to share. Since my last post, I have graduated college and started a new job in the city. As you know, this means that I haven’t had much time to blog. So, I want to make up for it with a round up of my favorite styles from a few sites I recently discovered.
First Up: Boutique 1861
For those who know me best, I’ve always had a soft spot for vintage, vintage-inspired and classic pieces. This Canadian site provides that and so much more. Today, 1 Canadian dollar is about 79 cents in the U.S. so your money may go a little farther. Just keep in mind that there is a shipping charge of $15 if you spend under $200. Take a look here for some vintage-inspired pieces with modern flare.
Next: City Chic
While I try to diversify my posts with plus size clothing options, it’s not always easy. City Chic takes the guess work out with vibrant prints, cute cuts and bright colors that will add a pleasant pop to any wardrobe. Who knows, it may even inspire you to try out a few new combinations for your own outfits. Take a look for yourself here.
This Australian store reminds me of a cross between ASOS, Lulu’s and Forever 21 with a Boho flare. If you’re looking to bring Spring into your wardrobe with a few new pieces, but not hurt your budget too badly, this may be the place to start. My favorite part: They have a stream of photos under each item of how it looks on real people! It’s definitely worth a look. Just remember the $9 shipping fee.
One More Thing:
