With student loans and bills piling up, every penny counts. So you start pinching here and there, reducing your spending and unfortunately shopping.
Not any more.
Multiple retailers have proven that they understand what it means to be a “broke” college student. For this reason, student discounts have become abundant. All you need to do is look. Over the next couple weeks I am going to show you some of my favorites.
The First is: Ann Taylor
For business, casual and business casual, Ann Taylor is one of my go-to spots. Whenever I want to put together that classic fun look I go here. The best part, the regular (non-outlet) stores will give you a 20% off full price in store purchases until you graduate. Just show your school I.D. in store and sign up online for extra savings.
As for the Crossroads Strip Dress, (top row, left) I would save this for the office and pair it with either a colored blazer, bag or pumps. Or you can keep with the monochrome (black and white) trend and follow the image’s example.
The last three patterned shorts (bottom row) are all for outside of the office. Have a little fun with these. You can use them for a ready-made outfit – pick a color in the shorts and wear a shirt in that color as well as neutral accessories – or take it a step further. The two striped shorts have matching blazers that you can wear with pumps for a cute and chic look. As for the patterned short, take a chance and match it with a bright colored shoe and matching top or go monochrome and make it a head to toe black-and-white look to add comfort and style.
That’s it for now. Check back for more stores and style secrets.
